Amir Mosallaie has been making movies since he was nine years old. He's written and directed commercials for brands like BIC, RushCard, and the Better Business Bureau, shot and edited digital content for DreamWorks Animation and Film Independent, and cut independent feature films like The Wilderness, starring Wednesday's Hunter Doohan, and Nickels, starring Rob Riggle, as well as the second season of HBO's The Case Against Adnan Syed, directed by the Oscar-nominated documentarian Amy Berg. He recently headed the social media campaign for the Nick Offerman and Dennis Quaid thriller Sovereign, which premiered at Tribeca Film Festival and is now nominated for two Independent Spirit Awards. Amir is a recent graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts' MFA in Film program, where his first feature screenplay East of Westwood was named to the Purple List, and where he now teaches Editing as an adjunct professor. He is currently in post-production on his first feature film as writer-director.
